However, over the past few days, I've encountered what appears to be a bug where this interaction will stop working and I'll have scope sway again, forcing me to revert to an earlier save. It's been working this way for me for over 50 levels and roughly 100 hours of play.
Yes, it is a big buff, but only to two weapons and at the cost of a perk and one or two mod slots. There's still some play in the "Medium" and "Long" scopes, but an additional piece of armor with "Stabilized" on it will reduce that to zero as well.įrom my point of view, this makes sense and is the correct behavior and interaction. For me, having level 1 of the "Sniper" perk and wearing one piece of armor with the "Stabilized" mod on it reduces the amount of scope sway when crouched with non-automatic, scoped rifles (the Hunting Rifle and Gauss Rifle) to effectively zero when equipped with a "Short" scope.
